Quality Standards
While there are very few, if any, real quality standards and regulations in Canada surrounding the manufacturing of pet treats, we are committed to maintaining similar quality standards as would be expected in a commercial or restaurant kitchen preparing food for human consumption.

Safe Food Handling
Everyone involved in the manufacturing process at B&T Pets has a current Food Handler Certification. This provides the knowledge necessary to understand the importance of the standards we put in place.

Commercial-Grade Kitchen
When we built our kitchen we made sure to meet or exceed the requirements of a commercial-grade kitchen. From stainless steel work surfaces, to appropriately sized 3-bin sink for cleaning and sanitizing all of our equipment, to walls and floors which are easily cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.

Additional Quality Standards
We are currently in the process of implementing an HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) Management System.

Our founder has completed the HACCP Management Certificate Course (20Feb2025). Workflows and Critical Control Points have been identified, and are monitored regularly. Implementation of the full plan is in progress.
